About The Center

The Center for Change at Kennett Square is a therapeutic collaboration between like-minded providers who support individuals, couples, families, and our community with opportunities to achieve a greater sense of well-being and recovery from the long-lasting effects of stress and trauma. We empower individuals in self-compassionately identifying areas of challenge, and how to navigate the healing experience. The Center employs a holistic mindset, deconstructing the complexities of our human experience, while capitalizing on individual strengths in order to restore ourselves to a sense of wholeness. At The Center for Change KSQ we view each client’s journey as unique. Through the application of leading research and evidence based practices, strategies and techniques, we empower clients to center themselves in a culture capitalizing on compassion, self-care and healing.

Our Community of Providers

Providers at The Center KSQ operate as their own entity and practice at The Center as a community based collaborative.

Director of The Center
Counseling & Mediation

Winden Statham Rowe, MS, NCC, LPC

Winden is an LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) and specializes in treating Posttraumatic Stress and the immediate and long-term impact of ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences). The Center is the inception of her long-term goal of directing a trauma center. Her focus is in incorporating paradigm shifts in the field of treatment and change, changes that center around not what is wrong with a person, but understanding what happened, and how that still has an impact. She is EMDR-1 trained, in the supervision process for her EMDRIA certification, and this fall will complete her training as a divorce and custody mediator.

Gary R. Katz, Attorney at Law

Gary works as an attorney at law in several areas of practice. In this phase of his career, Gary will be working at The Center collaboratively with Winden to mediate divorce and custody agreements with changing families. Mediation is a change-based process founded on the premise that those who make their own decisions for change are exponentially more likely to fully adopt those changes. Our goal is to make that change affordable, and to keep families out of the courts.

John R. Hill, M.Div., MFT

John specializes in Couples and Family Therapy. He also works with a  variety of people having many other different treatment goals. He utilizes an eclectic approach that begins with analysis of his clientele in the context of where they see themselves at the time the therapy begins. He focuses on the family and the individuals as part of a larger system and treatment is prescribed according to needs. John seeks to assist people in making the changes they would like to make to strengthen and improve how they view themselves and function in the family or other relationships, helping to guide them to a happier healthier life.
